About the Brand

The Omorovicza brand had its genesis more than 2000 years ago, when the remedial properties of Hungary’s therapeutic waters were first uncovered. In the 1800s, the noble Hungarian Omorovicza family built the Racz S.P.A in Budapest on the site of a medieval healing spring.  Many years later, at the start of this century, Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza brought his future wife Margaret to the baths, part of his heritage. Enamored by the life-changing effects the mineral-spa waters had on their skin, Margaret and Stephen went on to bottle these properties into an entire skincare range.

Working closely with a Nobel prize-winning team of scientists, Omorovicza developed Hydro Mineral Transference™, a delivery system that allows the absorption of minerals from the divine waters of Budapest by the skin’s deepest layers for a plump, younger-looking complexion. Today Budapest is seen as a geological curiosity, and the international spa city. The founders of Omorovicza; Stephen and Margaret travelled to Hungary together and visited some thermal baths. They were so amazed at how the water at the baths transformed their skin that they had the idea to encompass these Hungarian thermal waters into a luxury skin care range; thus, the idea for Omorovicza skin care was born.

In order to harness the powers of the healing waters; Margaret and Stephen enlisted the help of a Nobel prize-winning laboratory of dermatology, famous for its discovery of Vitamin C. Margaret and Stephen worked with the head of this Hungarian laboratory to pioneer a mineral delivery system, called the Hydro Mineral Transference™ which ensures that the thermal waters’ minerals are fully absorbed into the skin to reap all of the benefits.

The incredible mineral content of the thermal waters ensure that the skin is soothed, moisturized and revitalized while improving the production of collagen and elastin over time; to leave you with truly revitalized, younger looking skin.

Omorovicza Cosmetics was officially launched in 2006; with their first store opening in Budapest. Today; Omorovicza contains nearly 50 products from four different collections, including; the Gold collection, The Blue Diamond collection, Moor Mud collection and Hydro Mineral collection- each one formulated to alleviate different skin care concerns. All of the Omorovicza products contain a potent blend of the Hungarian healing waters and the Hydro Mineral Transference™ technology for maximum efficacy.
